CNC plasma cutter running at the shop. It’s cutting out an LCD bezel from 16 gauge steel sheet, 40 amps, 150 Inches per minute feed rate. The gantry was made by “Practical CNC” and like all their products, is COMPLETE GARBAGE. This is a video shot at 30 FPS and 60 IPM of movement by attaching the camera to the head of the CNC router. The object is a turned audio waveform by artist RoseMarie Padovano. I did this in order to get a paralax-free scan of the object so we can re-construct it out of aluminum. Should be cool.
